Title :YAMA

Blurb :What will you do if you have 24 hours to save someone?
A violent saint…
A man who claims he is Yama is punishing sinners by killing them according to the twenty eights hells prescribed in Bhagvat Gita. Who is he? What does he want? Is he a vigilante or a psychopath?
A delusional hero…
Iravan Rajpoot, an Ex-Black Cat Commando with a dark past is receiving letters with names and time limits. It’s no sooner that he learns these people will die within that time frame. He needs to do everything, risk everyone to save them.
An ambitious reporter…
Swati Kaushik, a widow and a woman who can do anything for success must team up with Iravan to stop the god of death and justice.
My View :'Yama' has a very exquisite message for the readers, a message that says that your deeds are judged here only, and you have to pay for it one day or the other.I'm truly delighted with the plot author has carved for readers. With the hues of mystery, suspense, thrill and fear, it spreads the color of moral values, as your deeds are what matters at the end of this journey. This is one such book which entertains you and simultaneously lifts the curtain to show you the reality.
The story accelerates on a very interesting and compelling note. Here Daksh found missing and there her wife hired a private detective. The gap between here and there, and how detective Iravan along with his nephew solve the mysteries one by one. From the beginning itself, story lefts the magnetic charm to entice reader. The suspense it creates in the beginning, forces reader to think whether the story is a fantasy-fiction or thriller -fiction.
Author makes good use of all the characters participated in the story.Every characters pays his/her visit in the story with a motive and plays their role very-well.Even the characterization is stiff and strong which gives a clear outline of their characters.I very much like the concept and set up of the story. It winds up the reader in the mesh of mysteries over and over again, and pulls reader's attention every now and then.
I found the story fast-pacing.The switch of story from past to present and from present to past becomes the throne in the journey, because that happens in always every chapter, but with the amount of spice I couldn't stick to this loophole for long, and I was focused to see what more this story has in store.I think more detailing to the scenes would provide a proper pace to the story. But nevertheless, it creates a wonderful ambiance and entertains reader's at its level best.
Although when you come to an extent, there is nothing much mysterious left to the story, but the set up of the story would drive you to follow the steps. As you approaches towards the end, you can easily see the suspense lying infront of you, the culprit can be easily judged, and one can easily track how author's mind work and how it would take a turn. But, there lies another mystery in the end, which gives an impactful end to the story, that's where author triggers reader's mind.
An engaging and thrilling read!
