Review of Falling In Love

Title : Falling In Love

Author : Neeraj Mishra

Blurb : He was witty. She was traditional. He was happy go lucky. She was adorable next door girl. He instantly fell in love with her. She cocooned her feelings. He wanted her. She refused him. Who wins? Why she refused him? Will they meet? Will he be able to sweep her from her feet? Are love stories really for forever? Does love happen only once? How far can someone go to get his love?

Come, be a part of this eternal saga, a journey. A journey of two souls falling for each other where you will find funny one liners, punches and oodles of romance. If you have ever fallen in love, it's your story, it's our story. Relive, cherish and be a part of those moments, once again!

My View: 'Love over Internet' has now become a common fundamental, and as we are already aware of many such stories that bloom over internet, and here comes an another chance to experience the same all over again.'Falling In Love'  is a story of Manav and Sriti, how they meet, how their story takes a turn, and how it ends and on which note. It is a journey of two souls, who are so much in love, and at last find a way out through all the wild circumstances.

There are no turns and no twists offered to readers in the journey, but whatever there is ,doesn't go off the rail, it doesn't revolve around unnecessary details, whatever is there, is focused towards our protagonist. The thing I like most about this story is its innocence, the content comes straight from the heart, and it goes straight to the heart.Albeit, it doesn't downpour so much of emotions, but whatever it has delights the heart. The involvement of family and friends in the story looks so real, that it becomes a cakewalk for readers to get involved in each of the episodes.

As the theme is common, so it is so easy to relate with the story at each node. What makes the journey more easy is author's honesty towards his debut book and his dedication towards the story. He doesn't write just to complete the story, but to reach maximum hearts, and so he writes with all his heart, with utter simplicity and honesty. No matter how common the story is, the way author presents this story is really good, as it opens the chances for many novice to enter into literary world. It is one such book which could be titled as 'Entrance card' in the literary world.

As chats over internet and cell-phones play a great role in the story,I'm thankful to author that he doesn't use chat acronyms and abbreviations, as overdose of them would simply freak me out, and I'm glad that author maintains the decency in the story. Also, if the protagonist's profession would be engineer, I don't think I would like to peek into his profession, but he being a student of hotel management,I quite enjoyed knowing the tits and tats of that profession.Simplicity is what all I see in this book. From writing style to story, from characters to narration everything is laid down in so simple manner, that it would be a true delight for a newbie.

Talking about loophole, being an ardent reader, the only hitch I have with this book is  a common plot, there's nothing new to evolve and experience in this story.

Short, Sweet and simple love story!

Recommended to newbies!
